Whether you’re here to experience the thrill of Zip World, conquer Snowdon, explore the incredible mountain bike trails, or simply switch off and enjoy the fresh Welsh air, you’ll find comfort, warmth, and character waiting for you here.
The cottage blends modern comfort with original charm. It’s cosy, clean, freshly decorated, and thoughtfully equipped for walkers, bikers, families, couples, and four-legged companions alike. After a long day exploring mountains, lakes, waterfalls, forests, or the famous scenic driving roads of North Wales, you can return to a warm shower, comfortable beds, and a relaxing evening beside the fire.
Zip World is less than half a mile away, the historic steam railway is just 400 metres down the road, and Snowdon itself is only 3 miles away as the crow flies — making this an ideal location for exploring one of the most beautiful parts of the UK.
I’ve spent the last year carefully renovating this cottage while trying to preserve the character and soul of a building that has stood here for nearly 150 years. It isn’t a modern show home — and that’s exactly the point. It’s a genuine Welsh cottage with history, personality, and plenty more improvements still planned.
I stay here myself regularly because I genuinely love the peace, scenery, and atmosphere of the area — and I hope you’ll love it too.
